A fleet in the United States was having an issue with jump starts. They noticed multiple vehicles needed to be jump started some mornings at the same time. When trucks can’t get on the road it can be costly to a fleet’s efficiency. That’s why they were looking for a jump starter that could jump start multiple vehicles without needing a lot of charge time in between.

Solution

Purkeys had the answer. Purkeys’ CAPS, or Capacitor Actuated Portable Starter, utilizes an ultra capacitor that can quickly send enough energy to jumpstart a heavy-duty vehicle, and then quickly charge after a successful start. The ultra capacitor and small, yet powerful, AGM battery, allows technicians to jump start multiple trucks in a short period of time.
